Nashua man hurt in Mass. motorcycle crash

NASHUA – A 31-year-old Nashua man was seriously injured Saturday when his motorcycle crashed in Tyngsborough, Mass., striking a guardrail on Old Pawtucket Boulevard. Jason Ferreira suffered a head injury when his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle crashed around 1 p.m. Ferreira was transported to a nearby vocational school and flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Boston for treatment. He was listed in critical condition Saturday, Tyngsborough Deputy Police Chief Chris Chronopoulos said. Police were still investigating the circumstances Monday.

Derry woman dies in rollover crash in Windham

A 25-year-old Derry woman was fatally injured Saturday when her car rolled over and crashed in Windham. Police and firefighters were called to North Lowell Road, between Camelot and Londonderry roads, at 7:19 p.m. to respond to the crash. Police said Angela Cataldi was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Windham firefighters transported Cataldi to Parkland Medical Center in Derry, where she was pronounced dead.

Death reported in turnpike crash on Merrimack-Bedford line

A major accident caused a significant traffic backup on the F.E. Everett Turnpike on Friday night near Exit 13 and Raymond Wieczorek Drive. New Hampshire State Police and officers from Merrimack and Bedford were on the scene, but had no information about the crash as of the time this edition was printed. WMUR-TV reported that at least one person died in the crash. Emergency scanner transmissions indicated at least three flatbed tow trucks were called to the scene.

4 students injured in NH plow truck collision

PITTSFIELD (AP) – Police in Pittsfield say four high school students in a pickup truck have been injured after the vehicle collided with a plow truck. Police tell WMUR-TV it appears the plow truck was backing out into the road Friday when the accident happened. One of the teens had to be pried form the pickup. All four were taken to Concord Hospital, but police said the injuries did not appear to be serious. The plow truck driver was not injured.
